Crafting Bonds with Creativity: Rakhi Making Best Out of Waste at Auxilium Primary School 🌸

On the bright and cheerful morning of 2nd August, the vibrant grounds of Auxilium Primary School came alive with colour, creativity, and celebration as students gathered for a unique event  “Rakhi Making & Best Out of Waste competition.” The activity beautifully blended the festive spirit of Raksha Bandhan with an important message of eco-consciousness and sustainability.
Surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery, the school ground was transformed into an open-air creative studio. Students from various classes participated enthusiastically, bringing along an assortment of recyclable and reusable materials such as old paper, fabric scraps, beads, buttons, and ribbons.
With joyful hearts and imaginative minds, the young artists set to work. From delicate designs to bold and vibrant creations, each rakhi reflected the students’ passion, ingenuity, and environmental awareness. It was truly heart warming to see how discarded materials were transformed into beautiful symbols of love and protection.

This eco-friendly initiative wasn’t just about art — it was a lesson in sustainability, innovation, and tradition. Students learned how small actions, like reusing waste, can have a meaningful impact on the planet, all while celebrating the cherished bond between siblings.
Teachers were deeply impressed by the creativity and dedication displayed. They applauded the students’ efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring ways to blend creativity with conscious living.
As the event came to a close, students proudly showcased their handcrafted rakhis  each one telling a story of love, care, and environmental responsibility. The school buzzed with joy, pride, and the spirit of unity.
