Garba Spirit Unites Women, Children and Youth in Navratri Festival

 

The celebration of Navratri was held on 27th September 2025, Saturday, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Auxilium School Ground, Pansora. The event was organized by Jag Prakash Chhatriya, Pansora, and featured a vibrant Navratri Garba Competition for children and young girls. The program began with a prayer and a warm welcome, where Sr. Shaila D’Monte, greeted the guests by presenting them with small plants as a symbol of appreciation. The occasion was graced by the presence of village women, hostel girls, social workers, and many well-wishers. Esteemed judges — Ankitaben Makwana from Anand, Mukeshbhai Makwana from Lingda, Sr. Nayana Vankar from Pushpanjali, Dakor, and Sr. Phulmani Parmar from Vadodara — were specially     invited to evaluate the competition.

The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 440 children and young girls, all dressed in colourful traditional attire. Their graceful and energetic Garba performances captivated the audience, filling the atmosphere with cultural pride and festive joy. The best performers were honoured with attractive gifts, making the celebration even more memorable. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sr. Shaila D’Monte, who expressed her deep gratitude to the judges, participants, guests, and supporting staff. The Navratri celebration ended successfully, leaving behind cherished memories of joy, excitement, and rich cultural expression.
