Cleanliness Rally on Gandhi Jayanti at Ardi Village
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, the children of the three tuition classes run by Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora organized a spirited cleanliness rally in Ardi village. Starting from the main road, the children enthusiastically walked through the village, spreading awareness on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Their active participation created a vibrant atmosphere and inspired the villagers to reflect on Gandhi’s vision of a clean and healthy society.
At the Gram Panchayat, study class teacher Mr. Ranjitsinh addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the life and values of Mahatma Gandhi. He highlighted that cleanliness is not only physical but also a symbol of social and mental purity. His words left a deep impact on the children and reinforced the importance of adopting cleanliness as a way of life.
The rally
saw the wholehearted participation of the sisters of the community, teachers, social workers, Junior hostel girls, and
nearly 150 children. Their joint effort turned the program into a
meaningful event that left the villagers inspired. The rally concluded with the
strong message that awareness about
cleanliness should be developed from childhood, making the day a true
tribute to the Mahatma’s legacy.
