Inter-Religious Celebration: One God, One World, One Family
Our school joyfully organized an Inter-Religious Celebration from 13th February to 17th February 2026, cantered on the meaningful theme “One God, One World, One Family.” The program aimed to foster unity, mutual respect, and deeper understanding among students by highlighting the beauty and values of three major religions—Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity. The celebration beautifully conveyed the message that, although religions may differ in practices and traditions, they all lead toward peace, love, and harmony.
Students presented the essence of each religion in creative and engaging ways. Through skits, dances, speeches, and melodious songs, they explained the concept of God and goddesses, forms of worship, important festivals, and the core principles of each faith. The presentation on Islam highlighted devotion to one Almighty God, regular prayer (Salah), charity, fasting during Ramadan, and the celebration of Eid.
The segment on
Hinduism showcased belief in one Supreme Reality expressed through various
deities, prayer rituals, temple worship, festivals such as Diwali and Holi, and
the principles of dharma and karma. The presentation on Christianity reflected
faith in one loving God, the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, prayer and
service, and celebrations such as Christmas and Easter rooted in love and
forgiveness. Each performance was thoughtfully prepared and was appreciated for
its clarity and respectful presentation of all faiths. As part of the Hinduism segment, two parents of the students were invited
to share their insights and experiences. Their reflections enriched the
celebration by offering a lived understanding of Hindu values, traditions, and
spiritual practices, making the session more meaningful and relatable for the
students.
The inter-religious celebration concluded with a
renewed commitment among students and staff to respect all religions and to
live the values of peace, brotherhood, and universal love, truly reflecting the
spirit of One God, One World, One
Family.
