Child Rights Awareness Campaign at Auxilium Primary School

Auxilium School, Pansora conducted a meaningful Child Rights Awareness Campaign on 8th November 2025 to educate students about their fundamental rights and responsibilities. Organised by Sr. Shaila D’Monte and Ms. Juliys Christi, the session opened with a short prayer, setting a reflective tone for the programme. Students were introduced to the four basic child rights Survival, Protection, Development, and Participation through a clear and engaging presentation. Practical examples and simple explanations helped children understand how these rights come alive in their everyday experiences, encouraging them to relate the concept to real-life situations.

The campaign further included interactive discussions, a short awareness video on child protection, and important helpline information, helping students recognize the support systems available to them. Children were enthusiastic in sharing their thoughts, asking questions, and expressing their understanding of personal safety and responsibility. The session concluded with all students taking a collective pledge to respect and safeguard the rights of every child, making the event both inspiring and empowering. This initiative was a valuable step toward strengthening a safe, aware, and child-friendly environment within the school.
