Girl Child Day Celebration

The Junior Hostel of Jag Prakash Kanya Chhatralay, Pansora, celebrated Girl Child Day with great joy and enthusiasm. The two-day celebration was a beautiful blend of learning, prayer, and fun.

On 7th September 2025, the girls of Std. 6 to 10 actively participated in the Girl Child Day programme organized by Umreth Parish Church. The day was filled with enriching and meaningful sessions on topics such as self-awareness and the disadvantages of social media and its responsible use. The sessions began at 10:30 a.m. and continued till 4:00 p.m., keeping the young participants engaged, inspired, and more aware of the world around them.

The celebration continued on 8th September 2025 in our Junior Hostel with a more festive spirit. The day began with a heartfelt Eucharist, thanking God for the gift of every girl child. In the evening, there was a special prayer moment, followed by a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the happiness and importance of the day. The girls then enjoyed a series of fun games and activities, which filled the atmosphere with laughter, friendship, and cheer.

The two days of celebration reminded everyone that every girl child is precious and full of potential. It was truly a time of joy, learning, and togetherness, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of our young hostel girls.

  The celebration of Navratri was held on 27th September 2025, Saturday, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Auxilium School Ground, Pansora. The event was organized by Jag Prakash Chhatriya, Pansora, and featured a vibrant Navratri Garba Competition for children and young girls. Women’s Federation Strengthening Workshop at Dakor

  On 18th and 19th August 2025 , a two-day Women’s Federation Strengthening Workshop was held at Dakor , attended by 25 women along with staff, sisters, and the SHG women from Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora . The workshop aimed to train women on the concept and functioning of federations, motivate them to work together, and empower them to take collective action for village development. On the first day, Sr. Shaila D’Monte and the social workers led sessions on the importance of federations, which helped the women gain clarity and unity of purpose. The second day began with a prayer led by the Pansora girls, followed by sharing of reflections and inspiring examples from Africa on how women solve problems collectively. The group then prepared a six-month action plan to guide their future activities. Cleanliness Rally on Gandhi Jayanti at Ardi Village

  On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, October 2 , the children of the three tuition classes run by Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora organized a spirited cleanliness rally in Ardi village . Starting from the main road, the children enthusiastically walked through the village, spreading awareness on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Their active participation created a vibrant atmosphere and inspired the villagers to reflect on Gandhi’s vision of a clean and healthy society. At the Gram Panchayat, study class teacher Mr. Ranjitsinh addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the life and values of Mahatma Gandhi. He highlighted that cleanliness is not only physical but also a symbol of social and mental purity .
