Village Study Class Parents’ Meeting at Christipura

 On 31st August 2025 , a Parents’ Meeting of the Village Study Class was held at Christipura Village , with the participation of 20 parents. The program began with a prayer, setting a reflective and hopeful tone for the gathering. Following this, Sr. Shaila  D'Monte warmly welcomed all the parents and introduced herself. In her address, Sr. Shaila emphasized the responsibility of parents in shaping their children’s education and future. She encouraged them to take an active role in supporting their children’s studies and overall development, reminding them that education is a shared journey between parents, teachers, and the children themselves. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided to conduct family visits , which were carried out with great enthusiasm. Eco-Friendly Rangoli Competition – Honoring Our Blessed Mother

As part of the Marian Month celebrations , the junior hostel children participated in a joyful Eco-Friendly Rangoli Competition . With devotion and creativity, they designed beautiful rangolis on the face of Mother Mary , using only natural and eco-friendly materials.  The event was conducted group-wise , with all four groups taking part enthusiastically. Each group displayed unique designs, blending artistry with faith. Their rangolis not only reflected love for the Blessed Mother but also highlighted the importance of caring for creation. The competition filled the hostel with color, joy, and a spirit of togetherness. Every group performed wonderfully, making it a truly memorable tribute to Mary, Our Mother , during this special month.

Parents’ Meeting for Village Study Class

  The parents of the village study class children gathered on 23rd August 2025 for a meaningful meeting with the Sisters and teachers. The session began with a prayer, after which Sr. Shaila warmly welcomed everyone and shared reflections on the vital role of parents in supporting their children’s studies and overall growth. At the end of the meeting, it was decided to visit the families of the children . These visits turned into moments of great joy and bonding, as parents wholeheartedly appreciated the Sisters and teachers for reaching out to their homes. The event left a sense of encouragement and renewed commitment among the parents towards their children’s education.

Inauguration of the Marian Month

  On 20th August 2025 , the community of Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora joyfully inaugurated the Marian Month together with the Junior Hostel girls. The celebration became a beautiful expression of love and devotion to Mother Mary , who, with her maternal care, continues to guide, protect, and accompany us on our journey of faith. The evening began with a meaningful prayer service , creating a sacred atmosphere to mark the beginning of this special month dedicated to Mary. A solemn procession followed, filled with hymns of praise and devotion, as we walked together in faith and trust. The recitation of the Rosary filled the campus with peace, inviting all to meditate deeply on the mysteries of the life of Jesus and the gentle, guiding presence of Mary. One of the most touching and symbolic moments of the evening was when each girl came forward to offer flowers at the feet of Mother Mary . Women’s Federation Strengthening Workshop at Dakor

  On 18th and 19th August 2025 , a two-day Women’s Federation Strengthening Workshop was held at Dakor , attended by 25 women along with staff, sisters, and the SHG women from Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora . The workshop aimed to train women on the concept and functioning of federations, motivate them to work together, and empower them to take collective action for village development. On the first day, Sr. Shaila D’Monte and the social workers led sessions on the importance of federations, which helped the women gain clarity and unity of purpose. The second day began with a prayer led by the Pansora girls, followed by sharing of reflections and inspiring examples from Africa on how women solve problems collectively. The group then prepared a six-month action plan to guide their future activities. From Language to Mission: Sr. Judy’s Experience at the Gujarati Intensive Course

  The Gujarati Intensive Course was held at the Ahmedabad Pastoral Centre , offering participants not only the opportunity to learn a new language but also to enter into the richness of Gujarati culture and spirit. Under the dedicated guidance of Fr. Walter D’Souza , who served as the coordinator, the program became a true journey of growth and immersion. A total of nine participants Sisters, Fathers, and Brothers  took part in the course with enthusiasm and commitment. Over the two months, they did not simply learn the language; they experienced Gujarati as a bridge of communion, a tool for deeper connection with people, and a pathway to serve the mission more effectively.  Among the participants was Sr. Judy Gaikwad from the Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora community . Raksha Bandhan Celebrations with Village Tuition Class Children

  From   6th to 8th August 2025 , the village study class children of   Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora , celebrated   Raksha Bandhan   with joy, creativity, and a beautiful spirit of togetherness. Over the course of these days, children from different tuition classes prepared rakhis with great excitement and enthusiasm. In a heart warming display of creativity and environmental awareness, the children crafted stunning rakhis using waste materials, transforming them into vibrant and meaningful creations. Each rakhi reflected not only the maker’s skill but also the love and thoughtfulness behind it. One of the most touching moments came when the children tied rakhis on each other's wrists, exchanging warm smiles and heartfelt wishes. Triple Celebration at Pansora Boarding (Parents’ Meeting, St. Mary Mazzarello Feast & Environment Day)

  8th August 2025, Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora, joyfully celebrated a triple occasion the  Parents’ Meeting of the boarding children , the  Feast of St. Mary Mazzarello , and  Environment Day . The programme began at 11:00 a.m. with a short prayer moment, setting a reverent and joyful tone. Boarding In-charge,  Sr. Maria Macwan ,  warmly welcomed the parents and introduced the rules and guidelines of the boarding. This was followed by two short skits — one on  Mother Mazzarello  and another on  Environment Awareness  creatively presented by the children.  After the skits,  Sr. Shaila D’Monte  addressed the gathering on the important and urgent issue of  human  trafficking , creating awareness among parents about the need to protect and guide children in today’s world. Crafting Bonds with Creativity: Rakhi Making Best Out of Waste at Auxilium Primary School

   On the bright and cheerful morning of  2nd August , the vibrant grounds of  Auxilium Primary School  came alive with colour, creativity, and celebration as students gathered for a unique event   “Rakhi Making  &   Best Out of Waste competition .”  The activity beautifully blended the festive spirit of  Raksha Bandhan  with an important message of   eco-consciousness and sustainability. Surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery, the school ground was transformed into an open-air creative studio. Students from various classes participated enthusiastically, bringing along an assortment of  recyclable and reusable materials  such as old paper, fabric scraps, beads, buttons, and ribbons. With joyful hearts and imaginative minds, the young artists set to work.
